There was a Pleasant Grove in Hulme, it was not marked on a map. It was between Chorlton road and  the west side of Upper Moss Lane, south of Stretford road and was in the area that was west of the end of Warde street. There were several small places in this area that were not named on a map. but a local directory mentions its name.
