Dear Judith, James and Emily were my great grandparents. They lived in The Avenue, Granville, NSW up until the time of their deaths. Walter Charles Ellis Monks, b 1902 Granville, the last born of the family, was my grandfather. I have been in contact with the Glynn HIBBERT in the UK, who is a descendant on that side of the family. My Mum, although just a young child at the time, still remembers Emily because she wasn't allowed to visit her in the hospital at the time when she was dying of facial cancer.
