Thanks to Joan, Marian & Martin for your replies. I have decided not to follow up the Marriage Licence as I've been told that Licences from that date won't contain any further info than what appears in the PR. It appears from Martin's post that perhaps the first witness, John HASLU/HASLEE/??? may have been a church witness, but Mary NUTTALL may be worth researching further as being connected to the bride and groom.
