Hello to all on the list. I am trying to locate a cousin to my own Sarah LAMBERT who was born Northwich but later lived Salford with her cousin Rebecca Milligan. BY 1861 she [Rebecca] was a widow and was running an Eating House in Greengate St Salford. Sarah was living with her, and by end of the year, Sarah had a son William Henry Lambert [illig] Father unknown- who was to be my grandfather. Rebecca had children William, Charles and Clarissa. I am unable to locate who Rebecca married and her maiden name. I need to find the connection to my Sarah Lambert who was born c 1833-5 I found Rebecca Milligan in a Manchester directory running Refreshment rooms 172 Deangate St. Why can't I find any of the children anywhere or Rebecca herself for that matter. Unfortunately I have been away for 3 months and my Anc.com has elapsed so am saving up to re-join! Any help would be greatly appreciated and/or if someone has a connection to either Sarah or Rebecca please let me know I would be so grateful.
