Hello All, Is anyone connected to or can help me shed further light on any of these Broome families - listed below? I am trying to add to and sort out my Broome cousins - who are all related to my Cooper line. I am trying to prove or disprove whether or not the first two wives are sistes -or not. John James Broome b. abt 1800 ?Chadderton Lancs - married 3 times as far as I can tell 1. Elizabeth Harris Cooper married 19 Sep 1824 St Mary Oldham - 5 chn John Chr 9 Apr 1826 St Mary Oldham Pos mar 1860 Jane Longley Bird Thomas Chr 3 Feb 1828 Oldham Samuel James Chr 20 Jun 1830 Oldham Edward Chr 15 Jul 1832 Oldham poss marr 1850 Fanny Mannock Elizabeth Chr 18 Aug 1834 and Bur 21 Sep 1834 St Leonards Middleton Lancs Elizabeth Harris Broome (nee Cooper) is bur 26 Oct 1834 St Leonard Middleton N.B. My William Cooper names one of his daughters as Elizabeth Harris Cooper From her burial age, Elizabeth Harris Broome (nee Cooper) was born abt 1803 - possibly not in Lancashire though. 2.John James secondly marries Sarah (possibly also nee Cooper - poss a sister of Elizabeth Harris Cooper as chn of this marriage are listed as cousins to some of my Coopers on a couple of later censuses) married ?? 16 Aug 1835 Liverpool???. Sarah was born about 1812 and if mine, was Chr at Rochdale 29 Nov 1812. Chn born to JJB and Sarah Elizabeth Chr 23 Jun 1836 (Methodist) Sarah Ellen b. abt 1837 Samuel b. 1838 Oldham marries 1865 - Sarah Jane Grono - 6 chn Ann b 1840 Oldham Sarah is bur at St Leonard Middleton 12 May 1841 3. John James Broome thirdly marries 1843 St Mary Prestwich - Jane Cheetham 4 Chn Jane b. 28 Jun and Chr 5 Sep 1844 Oldham John James Chr 12 Mar 1846 mar 1872 Mary Ann Howarth - 7 chn Hannah Chr 27 Jan 1848 Oldham James Cheetham Chr 22 Oct 1851 Oldham Mar 1876 Clara Coops - 6 chn.
