Hi Everyone I was just wondering has anyone used the Official Non-Conformist, Non Parochial BMD Service. I've been looking for the burial/death of an ancestor John BRIERCLIFFE for a while now. There is a John Briercliffe listed as being buried in 1836 in Lancashire (R94 1024) I can't find out anything else yet about this record as there is a 50 pence fee to search. Has anyone else used this service at all and what else could possibly be included in the record to help with my research. (The family were living in Manchester at this time) John Briercliffe (sometimes spelt Britcliffe) is the father of my convict ancestor Mary Britcliffe who was sent to Tasmania in 1846. John's wife is Hannah he had two other daughters Charlotte who died in 1834 (Manchester) and Elizabeth/Betty/Betsy and one son James. Any help much appreciated kind regards Dianna in cold Sydney
