Hi All, There are some great resources from afar for Manchester - I am in Australia. I have been doing some transcribing of Manchester Parish Registers on the Family Search site - some are probably already online and indexed but I have also checked the following this mornig: - England, Lancashire - Cheshire - Yorkshire Parish Registers, 1603-1992 These are images online - no the Cathedral in Manchester is not one of the Registers but there are lots of Hulme Churches - St George, Mark, Mary, Michael, Paul and Philip. It is great to be able to see the real registers not just a transcription. Once you have found something on the magnificent Online Parish Clerk site you should then check out the original register if at all possible. Hope this is of help. Regards Dianne

Only thing is, the Stockport (Heaton Moor) one doesn't work. First page comes up okay but after moving on to page 2 and further it states the image is currently unavailable. Any ideas how to get the register?
