Hello all, I have a friend who has found a 1938 Death Cert giving place of death as "123 Crescent Road", he had been living in Ridings Street, Newton Heath. He died of chronic bronchitis. Is this 123 Crescent Road likely to be what had been the Workhouse or was there another in the area? If it is the old workhouse does anyone know what function the place had by 1939?
