Hi Ruth, I see no-one has had a go at this one. I spent a little while Googling and time after time on modern church websites it states that there is no requirement for people to be baptised in order to be married. But that does not mean it didn't used to be! The Dioscesan Handbook states that baptism is not an essential requirement for the solemnisation of marriage in church but that too was a modern set of guidelines. I wonder if there are any church historians out there who could help you?
