Hi Ruth You question is a little ambiguous to me. Do you mean baptised into the Church of England in any C of E church or baptised at St Chad's in particular? I assumed the first but then wondered about the latter. There are links to various marriage acts here that may answer your question. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marriage_Act_%28disambiguation%29 My feeling would be, technically, no as I understand C of E recognises the baptisms performed in other mainstream Christian religions and that all mainstream Christian Churches consider that you can only be baptised once so vice versa. Therefore if she were baptised RC, for instance, she would not need to be baptised again C of E. Then again an individual Minister's interpretation of Church law may be different, especially then and especially if he was bigoted. Perhaps though she may have needed to be confirmed. You would really need to find an expert in Church law. Why do you ask?
