Hi All, Jane Emma BROADIE was born 1869 in Manchester and married William Henry ADSHEAD. In 1901 she is living at 39, Fairfield Street, Manchester with her husband and her father, another William, and a couple of boarders. There is something in the occupation column for Jane Emma I cannot read. Any ideas appreciated. Christine

Hi Christine: I believe it says S. Wind. which would be a silk winder. You can see that her father was formerly a silk warper so that would fit. Best wishes, Irene
