    3. Dear Friends, Oh, dear. How embarrassing. My sincere apologies to Martin for repeating information he had already so kindly forwarded to the list. I just happened to come across the BBC listing and blithely sent it on to the lists without first bothering to find out if someone else had mentioned it. As you can probably tell (especially Martin!), I am way behind in reading lists messages. I also apologize for my lack of participation on the lists for the last few months. As it does for many of us, life has got in the way. In autumn we added a member to our family, a little girl who we are hoping to adopt. With that addition, all of my spare time flew out the window! Then, a few months ago I hurt my shoulder rather badly, causing me continued sleepless nights and culminating with very recent surgery. The injury, sleep deprivation, and now the surgery, has put a real damper on my use of the computer. And to add to all of that, on Friday our little dog passed away. Fortunately, she led an active, comfortable, and happy life right up to the end, but we are suffering immensely from the loss. This is the first time in my adult life that I've been without a dog and even with six cats (!) and a young child, the quiet is unbelievable. If you've written privately to me and still awaiting a reply, be assured that although it might take a little while, I will respond. Feel free to write again if you think your message has fallen through the cracks. I hope you'll forgive the long moan. I also count my blessing! Thanks to all of you for your continued participation on the lists (and the Lancashire message board) and thanks to Sally for keeping us apprised of Lancashire OPC progress. A very warm welcome to those that have recently joined us. Please jump in and post your queries. Never feel like your question is too basic. We may not have the answers that you seek, but I'm positive several of our many knowledgeable listers will be able to point you in the right direction. Finally, I wanted to ask list members to please give a thought for our friend Beth M., who is leaving the list due to severe health problems. We'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers, Beth. Kindest regards, Lynne

    3. Dear Lynne.Firstly I am sure otherts will agree with me,that you have absolutely nothing to apologise for.You freely give so much of your time and effort to the list that we could be nothing but extremely grateful to you. Secondly,I am so sorry to hear of the loss of your dog.I also lost my little dog the Friday before [11th] and so can mepathise fully. The silence is defining,as I live alone and he was my only companion. I hope the coming months are joyous ones for you and your family, you are restored to full health and a new addition to your family is successful. Many thanks Lynne for all you do and have done . My prayers are also with Beth during her health problems. kindest regards On 3/24/11, Lynne <[email protected]> wrote: > Dear Friends, > > Oh, dear. How embarrassing. 3. Hi Tabbitha Many thanks for your kind message. I'm so sorry that you also lost your dog. A terrible and sad coincidence. I'll keep you in my thoughts. We need all the luck we can get with this foray into parenting. Keep your fingers crossed!
