Hi list members, I have just rejoined after changing my email address. My main interest at the moment is for a John James Walton, who is the father of Francisco Walton born 1882 Chorlton, Manachester. I have the birth certificate for Francisco that also shows his mother as Mary Yeomans (Yeoman). On the marriage certificate in 1902 it shows his father as deceased. I purchased a death certificate for a JOHN JAMES WALTON died 1889 at Ardwick Chorlton, just on the chance that he may be the one, but gives no information on any other family members, the certificate tells me he died near the Gorton Brook Hotel Clower St Gorton, and the certificate was received from the coroner for a inquest held at Lancashire Oct 7th 1889. Regards Barry Wilson Aust
Hi Barry Have you "found" Francisco on the 1891 or 1901 census? What was the occupation of John James on his sons marriage cert? Hi Gilly, yes I have the birth certificate for Francisco, it shows the occupation of John James as a carter, the address at that time was 15 Bakewall St Ardwick. I have the census for 1901 living at 110, Thomas Street, South Manchester as a lodger, but no census for 1891.
