    3. The family may be hiding in plain sight though it's tough not to find them in 3 censuses. Have you tried variations on the surname which include the 1st letter not being correct. As a transcriber of censuses, I can tell you that the capital letter K is far from clear on most census entries. Try Ray and Bay etc. too.
