    3. According to Martha McCartney's 2007 'Virginia Immigrants and adventurers, 1607-1635, [a sort of Bible for early VA research], Pharoah (Farrow, Farrar) Flinton came to VA on the Elizabeth in 1612. Peter Coldham Wilson's 'Complete Book of Emigrants' gives his name as Farrar Flinton, aged 36, along with this wife Joane, aged 38. In the 1624/5 muster he says he was 35/36 in 1612 thus giving him a birthdate ca 1577 which is close to Coldham Wilson. Ah. I think these are all based on John Camden Hotten's 'Persons of Quality' published in London 1874 which can be found on the Internet Archive. Hotten got his info from the 1624/5 Muster when Farrar Flinton reported that he and his wife arrived in the Elizabeth in 1612. It looks like the passenger list no longer survives [most of them don't]. Carl Boyer doesn't list a 1612 ship Elizabeth except when he mentions this couple. These books are on GoogleBooks. Liane
