    2. Hi Patricia.....the IGI online has another child born to them in Ireland: Winifred Blessington Baptized March 17, 1834 Stockestown, Roscommon, Ireland Father: Bernard Blessington Mother: Winifred Conry Have you checked the 1841 census for this family? mary lou In a message dated 1/17/2011 12:52:23 P.M. Anyway this mystery deepens. The child Bernard Blessington was born at 3 Fredge St in August 1847 and died at 4 Fredge Street in November 1847. This I understand is Manchester. His mother was Winefred Blessington who sadly died about two weeks after his birth, but in Oldham. She is listed as Winny Blissington in the records and husband Bernard Blessington is the informant. However in November when their son died he is listed as deceased but just cannot find a record of him. I am looking to find both where Winefred/Winny Blissington/Blessington and Bernard/Barney Blessington are buried possibly in Oldham. If I can find his death maybe can trace death certificate. This couple were Irish and Catholics. 3. Thank you for taking the time to look for informaation for me. There are four children listed for baptism to Bernard Blessington and Winifred Conry in Ireland, I feel there are probably more. There are baptisms listed later then 1841 census and have not found anything on 1841 census in England. I feel that this couple came over either 1846/1847 away from the potato famine and a better life. My next step is I will 'try' and search for them in Ireland but want to find more first in England.
