Mary Lou, Yes, I did see this on freebmd. A few years ago worked on these records and completed about 1/4 million records for them. However, yes you are correct it does say Winny ,as she is listed, was registered in Ashton-u-Lyne. At this particular time this was the area listed for a much wider area and covered Oldham to. They are 'next door' to one another. Thank you so much for your help on this as you have taken so much time to assist me with my query.
