Hi listers, Just reposting my lost connections: Miller: Stratford and Forest Gate, West Ham, anytime, namely James and Ann, last known to have lived on St James Road, Maryland Point, Stratford in 1905 ...possibly up to at least 1914. Sons were John, Edward and daughter Ann, born between 1875-1881 in Stratford. Males: John Miller married Keziah (Catherine) Males of Pirton, Herts in 1906, and they lived at 40 Strode Rd, Forest Gate. Keziah was youngest of 4 (known), elder brothers were William, Augustus and Charles Males, all born in Pirton, children of Underwood Males and Elizabeth nee Clarke. Underwood Males died of Typhoid in 1878, and Elizabeth probably re-married. John Miller and Keziah had daughter Doris Miller (Hetty), sons James Augustus and John William Miller. Both boys went to the Swanley Naval Boarding School in Kent...later came to NZ to live between 1924-1927, their father John having been killed in action on board HMS Cressy 1914. Watson: Doris Miller married Len (Leonard?) Watson, a butcher of Walthamstow. Last known address was 37 Granville Rd, Walthamstow in 1960. Keziah died at this address in March of 1960. Len and Doris possibly moved to Brighton sometime after this, but, even knowing Len died years ago from Cancer, have not found his or Doris' death in the indexes. A possibility they moved back to Essex. Doeg: Lens sister Ada Watson married an Edward Doeg(Doig) and they lived in Lancashire. She died in 1979. Dowler: Ada and Edward had at least one daughter, name unknown, who married an Alex Dowler...and they were living in New Zealand for some time, but have not been found there, so have probably moved back to Britain. Anyone out there in la-la land known of any of these people? I am a Miller myself, direct decendant of John>James Augustus>Desmond Miller. Cheers, Sharon in NZ.
