For some unknown reason a Panorama was put out a few weeks ago in the time slot used for Who Do You Think You Are. If that had not been there the series would have finished last week. A new Michael Palin series starts in that timeslot next week so a contributor to the programme has been told by a member of the production team that it will go out on 12th December 1t 2100h. To quote from the message posted on ROOTSWEB I received the following e-mail from a member of the production team..... "We are pleased to inform you that we have a confirmed TX date for John Bishop. This will be transmitting on Wednesday the 12th of December 2012, 9pm on BBC One, UK time. See below TX card for more information. We hope you will tune in to watch the final programme in Series 9 of Who Do You Think You Are? Just to let you know Who Do You Think You Are? will be returning in Summer 2013 for the tenth series." It looks as if the final programme in the series has been delayed to make way for Michael Palin. However, I would check regularly before the above date if I were you because they do seem to move it about!
