I recently posted to the List about my gg grand aunt Mary Fletcher Clarke born Runcorn in 1847. I have now found that she married a Mr Lewis although I haven't found his full name or a marriage record yet. I have found that she had three children: Harry born about 1871, Sara Mabel born about 1872 and Mary born 1880 all at Liverpool. I have found a marriage at Ormskirk in 1900 for Sara Mabel Lewis and John Drummond which is quite likely to be her. I also see Who I assume to be Mabel on the 1901 census. She is age 28, born Liverpool, living at 2, Radnor Place, West Derby with her husband, John Drummond, physician and surgeon, born about 1870 at Clackmannan. The puzzle is that in the 1911 census John is at the same address but with wife, Elsie born about 1878 at Boyndie in Banff. With them is their daughter, Elsie age 1 born Liverpool. In 1911 Mabel can be found living in Peterborough with 3 children: John Connell Drummond age 9, Harry Moir Drummond age 7 and Mabel Macfarlane Drummond age 4 all born Liverpool. The census describes Mabel as a 38 year old, married, certified midwife. This seems to imply that John and Mabel divorced sometime between 1897 and 1900.
