Hi David, I too seek the JORDAN name in Liverpool but like you, have yet to find a connection to any lister researching JORDAN.  I am fairly sure we have no connection but in case it is of any help this is my family who travelled between Liverpool and Ballysakeery in Co Mayo for a number of years before settling permanently in Liverpool. Henry Jordan born Abt. 1809 Killala, Ballysakeery Co Mayo, Ireland Married 1835 Co Mayo Margaret Conlan born Abt. 1811 Kilgarvan, Co Mayo, Ireland Both died in Liverpool Children  Anne Jordan born 1835 Liverpool  James Jordan born Jun 1838 Liverpool Henry Jordan born 1842 Kilgarvan, Co Mayo, Ireland John Jordan born 1846  Kilgarvan, Co Mayo, Ireland Edward Jordan 12 May 1850 5 Court, New Bird Street, Liverpool. I have not found siblings for Henry born 1809  I have no connection to the name CLARKE that I am aware of.
