Would you like to be able to print a map showing what steps your ancestors made as they moved around the country? Try this web site, <http://maps.the-hug.net>, which was recommended by a member of the Manchester & Lancashire FHS. According to that member, you can plot the relevant points on the map, enlarge or reduce the map to fit, and print it, all for free. I finally worked out how to enlarge/reduce the map (you have to click on your starting point first), but haven't worked out how to print it yet. Seems a very useful resource.
