The Bolton branch of MLFHS (http://www.mlfhs.org.uk/Bolton/) will hold the August meeting on Wednesday August 1st at 7.30pm at Bolton Cricket Club, Green Lane, Great Lever BL3 2JB. All welcome. Charles Crosbie, Education Officer at the National Trust, telling us about the history of the HESKETH family who lived at Rufford Old hall from the 13th Century to 1936. He will be looking at their family fortunes and how they made their way and progressed through the years. A Help Desk will be available afterward for private research assistance.
