The Bolton branch of MLFHS (http://www.mlfhs.org.uk/Bolton/) will hold its September meeting on Wednesday September 5th at 7.30pm at Bolton Cricket Club, Green Lane, Farnworth BL3 2JB. The speaker will be Margaret Curry, who will discuss how industrial intolerance influenced Beatrix Potter's childhood in the Greater Manchester area, and her later life in London before she bought Hill Top and moved to the Lake District at the age of 39.
