it maybe Oxford Street area as I beleive that there was a maternity hospital there. There was indeed a maternity hospital on Oxford Street. I was born there, as was John Lennon but I didn't get a plaque on the wall commemorating same. Hi Dave, Not sure if following will be of any help to you. My sister was born 1958 Broadreen Hospital Liverpool, as my Mum was leaving the hospital with her, she was able to register my sisters birth at the lodge of the hospital. There was an Oxford Street Maternity Hospital Liverpool [do a Google] I don't know if they had the same procedure there in 1953 for registering a birth. My first son was born 1976, not able to register his birth at the hospital. Regards.
