Hi The burial record indicates it is a Public Grave (no 2892 not 2893). If you look at other burials on the image and subsequent images you will see a number of others buried in the same grave. The death certificate would not show birthplace but may have information that helps prove or disprove it is who you are looking for, such as a relative being the informant, or a residential address you can link. You can purchase the certificate from the GRO http://www.gro.gov.uk/gro/content/certificates/ for 9.25 GBP. England & Wales, FreeBMD Death Index, 1837-1915 [database on-line]. Provo, UT, USA. BURIAL RECORD Name: Thomas Kelly // Birth Year: abt 1839 // Age: 61 // Death Year: abt 1900 // Burial Date: 16 Jul 1900 // Parish: Ford Cemetery, Lancashire, England // Source Citation: Liverpool Record Office; Liverpool, England; Reference Number: 285 FOR. The associated burial-record image has this information: "Interments // Monday 16 July 1900 // Thomas Kelly // Aged 61 years // 2893" I'm in the US. I want to look at the death & burial records to see if this is the Thomas Kelly we're researching. My questions: * Might there be any additional information on the official death record, say about the cause of death & his birthplace? * If so, what is the easiest & least costly way to get a copy of that record? * Might there be any additional information on the Ford Cemetery burial record, say about the person arranging & paying for the interment? * If so, what is the easiest and least costly way to get a copy of that record? Thanks for any suggestions.
