Good afternoon from New Zealand, For the past 5 years I have been trying to find the name of Coates and finally found them on the 1911census,Is there anyone that can help me proceed further. The details I have are Elsie Coates b 1902 and Amy b 1904 both Willesden Middlesex London, the parents are William and Emma both born London, there is also another daughter on the 1911c Winifred Simpson 1895 daughter of Emma if possible I am trying to find any marriages for these 3 children I do have the marriage for William and Emma. This would clear up the search I have been trying to find then I can go further on the children. Thanking you all Eileen New Zealand

Hi I had a quick look on Ancestry for Elsie but there are a lot of Elsie Coates .... The two most likely seemed to be Elsie A Coates married Dudley J Mason March 1924 Hendon Middlesex , Or Elsie Coates married John Ager December 1925 Brentford Middlesex. Do you have any clues about a middle names ? Hi Eileen Found your Coates people in Liverpool in the 1911 cenusus. Cant verify these three but West Derby is a large registration district Amy Coates married Archibald Jones Sep 1933 (FREE bmd) in West Derby Liverpool Elsie Coates married John Bowers Mar 1925,West Derby,Liverpool Winifred M Simpson married Thomas H Williams SEp 1925.Liverpool 1901 cencus Emma Coates (Nee Simpson) aged 32.Daughter Winifred aged 6. Her mother was Elizabeth Taylor,born Richmond,Surrey (Married twice ?)
