Not really "Mother" related, but it's not Mothers Day until May in Australia. I would love to dearly thank this list for helping me, some years ago, find my husband's grandmother's father, a Scotsman by the name of Robert LINDSAY, from only a clue of "Aunty Cis" and an address of "12 Cupid Street Belmont" in a letter sent just after WW2. As well as this, I only had an occupation of Policeman from a marriage certificate and an Officer for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children from a death certificate. I can't remember the woman's name who played detective and found a whole new family solving a mystery that had been worrying me for a decade. You know who you are and I thank you most sincerely.
