The other way is to find out were buried and ask the council cems dept for the info. They can be online if like on Ancestry someone else has done their family tree, which includes the same person you are researching. Some people upload the records/certificates they have obtained to their family tree online, and make it public so other people can save a copy. I have obtained many like this.
