Hi David The 1881 Census has a William Lambert identified as being 32, married to Margaret, 31. Mary age 8. Jane age 6 and Geo. aged 5. Living at 2Ct.3 House, Queen Anne Street, in Municipal Ward of St. Annes. William is described as a Boiler Maker. Would this be your William Lambert?
