    1. [ENG-LIV] 1901 census return for John Jones.
    2. W. D. Jones
    3. Hi listers, Boy do I need help! John Jones, my great grandfather lived at Travers St. Liverpool certainly in 1881 and 1891. In the 1901 census, his wife Sarah is given as Head, Married, and aged 57, and the daughter Mary Elizabeth (28) is with her at 41, Bostock St., Bootle. The 1911 lists Sarah as Widow, still with her now married daughter, and living in Clare St. back in Liverpool. So at least in 1901, John is alive. But where? Not at home with his wife and daughter in Bootle. So where could he be residing that the enumerator would have recorded separately? What institutions (eg Hospital?) might have been his place of residence? Where might I find the relevant census return? Also, what is the most likely cemetery John might have been buried in after1901 assuming he died in Bootle? For any suggestions, tips, guides, ideas, I will be most grateful. Bill Jones Rye, NH. USA.
