    3. Hi, Can anyone say if it is possible to find out the names of persons living at 171 Grafton Street in 1926. Where would I look? Cheers Frances

G'day Frances, There are two sources of information: First there are the City Directories which were commercial publications (Gore's, Kelly's) listing all the householders in alphabetical order. Some later directories also has had listings in street order, but I've no idea if this was case for the Kelly's Directories of the 1920s. The second source is the Electoral Roll which lists all the people living at an address who were entitled to vote in both National and Local elections (there used to be different qualifications). These are listed in street order. You should find these records in the Liverpool Record Office or Reference Library.
