    3. I'm a long time away from the Liverpool waterfront scene but I well recall there being a Langton Dock. I'm hard pressed to remember the master porterage companies then operating (I left in 1966). I was however at school (Liverpool Institute) with a chap called Willie Langton who was an avid supporter of South Liverpool FC. Despite the passing years (60 of 'em) I can still recall his face!
