Norton in Hales Shropshire Baptism Register - August 2nd 1811 Lammas Norton son of parents unknown baptised NB. since registering the above baptism of Lammas Norton the Mother of him has been discovered; and has sworn before two Justices of the Peace for the County of Salop (vis: Sir Corbet Corbet, Bart., and the Rev. William Judgson ) that the said Male Infant was born of her body at Liverpool and that his name is Ralph Wildigg and belongs to the said Parish of Liverpool, in the county of Lancaster.
