Hello Claire, Thanks greatly for clearing this up.  Have sent in a correction reject for Minnie and now can finally put my GED Minnie to bed :-) Since this same error shows up on Ancestry, they must be sharing transcriptions with FreeBMD.  Have looked at the 'original scans' before, but have disregarded them as I was not sure when or who created them (the type written pages).  Any Ideas?  For humour, another mess is her sister's marriage in 1893/1894. That one I've worked out though, so is not a problem. So would the double entry for the birth certificates be a correction for the other (would one of the birth certificates be stamped with a correction comment?) and Minnie/Minna be the same person, or would they really have been twins. Would there have been any local registries that might help?
