A wee while back there was a couple of messages about LANGTON. I've just been reading a commemorative newspaper out the Liverpool Anglican Cathedral and in there was a piece about the building of the Lady Chapel. A donation of £25,000 towards the building, a huge sum a century ago, was given by the Earle and LANGTON families 'as a thank offering to God for the many material advantages we have derived from our long association with Liverpool, and as a memorial to members of our families who have passed away'.
