    1. [ENG-LIV] Liverpool shipping
    2. Following the chat on shipping coulod I please ask a shipping question? I am researching the family of Henry WILSON b 1791 Eng d 1852 at ADELAIDE South Australia. His occupation is recorded as "Gentleman" and his family appear to be of means in wealth and status. (No convicts here!!) His Will which was made in Plymouth shortly before emigrating with his entire family indicates he has a brother William WIILSON in Liverpool. (The other executor is John Hall FRANCE of London, also named as a brother ?) I have been lead to believe that the WILSON family were in Shipping in Liverpool. Have I been watching too many weeks of "Who do you think you are" or am I right in thinking there is something odd about a whole family (youngest were teenagers) bringing everything accross the world like that? The last address in England appears to be 10 Pleasant Plce Islington Middlesex. Would that be an address of means in 1848? Is there a Wilson family in shipping at this time in Liverpool? Any comments much appreciated. Anne Adelaide South Aust. PS His wife was Phillis AMEY m Surrey 1821 Children Henry France Wilson m MILBURN Phillis Elizabeth Wilson m J Jewell HALL William Wilson m ?
