Hi Judith, I'm late getting back to you about your Appleton connection but I think there must be a connection. How many Homer Appletons can there be that are NOT related!!! Not a common name for sure. I have also seen a couple fo Omer Appleton entries on the IGI and I suspect that is just another version of Homer.. How did you get you information?
