    3. Hello Carolyn, The registration for OMER Appleton is on the IGI ,batch number M005991 St.Nicholas, easily found on the "Hugh Wallis" Batch number site.I found the birth of Esther Appleton, father Homer born27Nov.1769,bpt.24Dec.1769 St.Nicholas.Found her marriage to John Isbester13 Mar.1786 St.Peters.I believe she may be a sister of my William(5xgrandfather)who married Ellen Vearing sometime before 1802.I think the name of Ellen and all its variants was wildly overused!!!Judith _________________________________________________________________ Get Hotmail on your iPhone Find out how here http://windowslive.ninemsn.com.au/article.aspx?id=845706

    3. Hi Judith, thank you for your message - I had never heard of the Hugh Wallis site and found it very interesting. Do you think it is better than the LDS IGI site? More records? More accurate? 3. Hi Carolyn The Hugh wallis site does not have any actual records, it is an index to extracted batches in LDS IGI and is very useful if you want to seach a specific parish.
