I always find these helpful. One thing that listers should beware of is the description of Churches in the so called Aigburth district of Liverpool. http://www.lan-opc.org.uk/Liverpool/Aigburth/index.html Most of these are not in Aigburth at all. The Lancs OPC have confused modern post codes, in this case L17, with historical districts. So in the example below, historical records show that St Michael in the Hamlet is in Toxteth Park.
