I am helping my brother in law with his family tree. Has anyone got these two surnames in there family. He is looking for June Rose Williams born in 1938 and her parents were living in Standish Street at that time. Her parents were William Edward Williams and Emma. Emma's maiden name was Blundell. June may have married in 1962 to Robert C. Mellor. Hilary.

Hilary, I am interested in your William Edward WILLIAMS because I am looking for a William WILLIAMS, b. Liverpool about 1894. I have him in the 1901 census living at 20 Marmaduke Street with his widowed mother and three other children. (I have not tried 1911 yet; waiting for Christmas, when I might get a subscription!) The William WILLIAMS I am looking for was the son of Austin Edward WILLIAMS and Margaret Mary Walmsley. Austin Edward was a doctor and died 03 Sep 1899. The family were Roman Catholic. I have a stack of information on this WILLIAMS family, if it is a match. Thanks Peter Unfortunately we do not have a match, Williams father on his marriage certificate in 1933 is given as Richard. It is a pity especially as you have a lot of information on the Williams family.
