    3. Good morning all,   My name is Eileen and I live in Connecticut USA, I was born in Liverpool, I have 7 siblings 4 older and 3 younger.  When I was about 3 years old we were all placed in a home, my older sister says it was called " The Cottage Homes, and that it was in Liverpool.   Can anyone shed some light on this place?  Where it was (is) and who ran it.  The time period would have been 1958,  which was the year my younger sister was born.   Many Thanks   Eileen

    3. I remember when I lived in Orrell Park, Liverpool that there was a place referred to as the "Cottage Homes" out towards Fazakerly to the north of the city. The buildings are still there: http://www.geograph.org.uk/photo/105338 Brian G |-----Original Message----- |From: eng-liverpool-bounces@rootsweb.com |[mailto:eng-liverpool-bounces@rootsweb.com] On Behalf Of Eileen |Sent: 10 November 2009 12:14 |To: ENG-LIVERPOOL@rootsweb.com |Subject: [ENG-LIV] Cottage Homes - Liverpool | |Good morning all, |  |My name is Eileen and I live in Connecticut USA, I was born in |Liverpool, I have 7 siblings 4 older and 3 younger.  When I |was about 3 years old we were all placed in a home, my older |sister says it was called " The Cottage Homes, and that it was |in Liverpool. |  |Can anyone shed some light on this place?  Where it was (is) |and who ran it.  The time period would have been 1958,  which |was the year my younger sister was born. |  |Many Thanks |  |Eileen | | | |~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ | |Admin Message - List guidelines: |http://freespace.virgin.net/genealogical.collections/AdminMessage.htm | |The list admin can be contacted at |Eng-Liverpool-admin@rootsweb.com |------------------------------- |To unsubscribe from the list, please send an email to |ENG-LIVERPOOL-request@rootsweb.com with the word 'unsubscribe' |without the quotes in the subject and the body of the message
