Chris My thanks for your prompt and accurate response! With regard to Eddie Lunt's mail, there are two Mary E Cowards born within a couple of years. The one I am interested in - Mary Ellen - was born in West Derby in 1869 and married Thomas Lloyd in Toxteth in 1893. She died in 1895. The other Mary - Mary Eleanor Coward - was born in Ulverston in 1871. Presumably this is the Mary who married Eddie's gg Grandfather. John
