This may be a little off topic for the Liverpool list- but I am trying to find details of Edward, Prince of Wales visit to Liverpool on November 23rd 1939. Please can anybody tell me if it is possible to look at The Court Circular for this time? Regards Lesley

Lesley, Are you sure you have the right date. Edward was Prince of Wales until his accession to the throne in January, 1936. He abdicated in December 1936, was made Duke of Windsor and left the country.
