This site carried images of parish register books that are held by Harvard University, which are out of copyright and whilst some of the titles aren't labelled precisely enough, they are certainly worth a look through. http://www.archive.org/search.php?query=lancashire%20parish%20registers When you have decided which register you would like to see, I would suggest using the Read Online option given in the box titled "View The Book" as it seems to be the easiest way of seeing whether it really is what you want or not. Sometimes it's a bit of a Lucky Dip with what's contained, but the anticipation is fun. A couple of clicks on vague titles found parish registers for Upholland, Middleton and Ribchester...
