    3. Need some help, My Elizabeth shows on the 1891 census as a 9 year old. Then she falls off the map altogether, cannot find any record of her at all, she does not show on any futer census. Elizabeth was one of 9 Children born to John Brannan and Winifred (McGreavey) Brannan 14 April 1881, Hornby Street, Liverpool.I can account for 8 of those children, 8 living and one dead, no problem. So what became of Elizabeth? Then along comes the 1911 census and I look up John and Winifred once more. It is then I noticed colums 7-8-9. No.of children born alive 9, still living 7, number of children who died 2 and then I knew, Elizabeth died, I'm assuming between 1891 and 1901. Once I knew this I searched High and Low but cannot find a death registration for her. I used every form of spelling variation with out any luck.If she died in a sanitarium or some other institution shouldn't the death have been registered with GRO?? I'm open to all suggestions. 3. Thank you to everyone that replied to Davis/Price on Hardman Street. I did make an error in the second part of my posting regarding the Hugh Hurst Davis birth/death record inquiry. I stated that my Davis/Price marriage were his parents. They are his grandparents. Sorry, I have several generations of that male line with the same name and sometimes it is a little confusing. Hugh Hurst Davis parents would be William Halhad Davis and Elizabeth Hurst. Thank you again for the information.

    3. Hi Joan: In 1951 my gg grandfather Martin and wife Bridget (Greene) lived on 8 Court, North Street, Liverpool ages given were 30 for Martin and 29 for Bridget. They appear to have been related to Rose Callagan since Rose Callagan was living with them in 1851. In 1961, Martin and wife Bridget along with their family John, Patrick age 7, Mary, Elizabeth and Martin Thomas lived at 1h 29 Truman in Liverpool. Martin was 32 and Bridget 32 both born in Ireland. Children baptized at St Mary's, Highfield. By 1881 Patrick is in Sheffield and he married Annie Keeton in 1877 so I think he was in Sheffield by the 1871 census. John Higgins stayed in Liverpool and I believe raised his family there. The congregation moved to St Philip's on Sheil Road..hope they had transport-it's quite a way! You may need to look again at the likelihood of  Hugh being their child as there are 30+ years between marriage and his birth. Barbara in Liverpool

    1. [ENG-LIV] St. Phillip church Davis/Price marriage
    2. Deb Cross
    3. Hi List, I was wondering if SKS would look up a marriage for me. I am told that this marriage took place in St. Phillip church Liverpool on Feb 9, 1835. The couple were William Halhad Davis and Harriet Price. My cousin found this information on some type of old document that was pasted onto a piece of paper. It was taken from a page 210. I would just like to confirm this information. I believe this church was on Hardman Street? I can find Hardman Street on the map but I am not sure what area this is. Any information on this couple would be a great help. I am also looking at a birth and death. I believe the couple listed above are the parents of this child. I am wondering if there is any way someone can tell me what church this was registered in and who the parents were. I don't want to order the certificate until I can get a little more information. 3. Hi Donna, Was he the son of Patrick and Honora Higgins who lived on that Street. Patrick was a Chelsea pensioner, born Ireland and in some census blind. They ran a Boarding House. I can tell you where they lived in each census if you think they are yours. The Miles I am looking for was actually the son of a John Colgan and Patrick I guess was his step father. Miles was a merchant seaman from 1851 on, and married Liverpool 1869 to Annie White.
