    1. Re: [ENG-LIV] [SPAM] Boardman - looking for parents
    2. Edna Pimental
    3. I have Boardmans in my tree. Margaret Boardman, born 1776 in Lowton, who married Peter Caldwell, born 1772 in Lowton. Not sure who Margaret's parents were or how far Lowton is from West Derby. They had 11 children, one was my ggggrandfather Henry Caldwell, born 1801 who married Elizabeth Abbot, born 1809 in West Derby. Henry and Elizabeth lived in West Derby and had 4 children that I'm aware of. Any connections? 2. Elizabeth Russell
    3. Hello, Wondering if someone could help with finding the parents of a Henry Boardman. He married Dorothy Graham in 1814 at St. James Toxteth Park and they had children from 1815 through 1824 (James, Henry, John, Anne and Eliza)who were baptized at St. Mary the Virgin, West Derby. He died before 1841 and was a joiner. That's about all I know of him. Would appreciate any ideas on how to go about finding out more information back on him and his parents and possible siblings. Thank you all, Liz Russell

    2. Judith Giffin
    3. My Swainston ancestors lived at 2 Mount Street in the late 1820s. When I refer to Google Map, I can see the corner of Rodney and Mount and presumably no. 2 Mount which appears to have two, possibly three, bottom windows with a door in between; the whole of which is attached to a residence on Rodney street. Do I have it right? Any infomation about the house will be appreciated. Judith Giffin, Halifax, Nova Scotia.

    3. Hi Carolyn, Thanks for the good wishes, which I will pass on to the OPC site. I know that they appreciate the thanks for their hard work in supplying us with one of the best (if not, THE, best) OPC site there is out there. To answer your question, basically if the registers have been transcribed then they are on the site. What year range is available in total for every church, I have no idea. If the church you're looking for isn't there, you could try asking the OPC themselves as to how the transcriptions are organised, and when or if they are likely to become available. It might be worth checking the list of churches in Liverpool on Genuki (http://www.genuki.org.uk/big/eng/LAN/Liverpool/), as that should tell you when each church was opened for use and whether it is still there, or closed, which should then let you know what to expect for the existence of parish registers. Also, if I remember rightly, some Catholic records have not been made available for transcription - I don't know anything else on this subject, just a vague recollection of having been told it - and so they are unlikely to ever appear in a transcribed form anywhere away from the Catholic Records. I am more than happy to be corrected on this point by anyone out there more knowledgable than me :o) Sorry I can't be of any more help. Regards, Sally Hi Sally, > > I look forward to your frequent updates and really appreciate the > work that is going on. It has been VERY helpful! 3. Hi Sally, I look forward to your frequent updates and really appreciate the work that is going on. It has been VERY helpful! Please express my thinks to the volunteers who are undertaking this taxing work! I have noticed that there are fewer records from the 1700's - Is this a random selection process or have earlier records been completed? I am particularly interested in records from Liverpool parish registers.
