    3. Oops!Sorry, Didn't mean to use the list for wrong topics. Since this is the only list I use because of my Liverpool connection I didn't know where else to start to find a rootsweb site for other areas. I never even thought about Cindy's list. Haven't used that one in years. Thanks for your suggestions though, and again I apologize. 3. Thank you Rosemary The child buried April 1841 was Ellen and in February 1843 he was William James no occupation given. At a baptism of John son of John in April 1834 his occupation is given as cowkeeper. John and Ellen buried 7 children at St.Chads and they gave their address as Liverpool at all burials. I did say John was born in Kirkby but maybe he was'nt, maybe he was just baptised there. Ellen was Johns second wife,I believe John's first wife was Margaret Molyneux of Kirkby. 1. Re: [ENG-LIV] Henry Charles LEWIS - Cotton Broker
    2. Hi David I have only just picked up on this thread so apologies if I am on the wrong track here. Do you have Mary Fletcher Lewis on the 1911? There is a Mary Fletcher Lewis living with daughter Sara Mabel Drummond, a certified midwife, in Peterborough. Sara states she has been married 10 years although there is no husband listed at the address. She has three children,John, Harry and Mabel McParlane or McFarland Drummond which throws up a conundrum as that name is mentioned by Sally as being on the world tree which you say is the wrong family but it definitely looks like your Mary Fletcher Lewis as it says she was born in Runcorn so there may be a connection to McParlane or McFarland in some way. It's all very curious. I looked for Harry on the 1911 but couldn't find him but he is definitely not at 10 Dundee Grove where he was in 1901. There is a Harry Lewis of right age coming in from Canada in 1929 with an address in Antwerp. There is also in GRO marriage of Max W C Lewis to Joan E Hill at Uxbridge in 1921. Death of Philomene J L Lewis, born about 1875, 1964, Willesden Middlesex. So thanks again Julie. It looks like you have started me on a trail of what may well be the right family.
