    3. Hello, Eric! I don't find a baptism in the Boston PRs but I found his Merchant Seaman records which give a birth date of 28 May 1822 at Boston. He became an apprentice seaman at age 16 and was still in the Merchant service on the 1851 census. I cannot find his wife Maria in that year, though. I can give you lots of information on his wife's family. I also looked to see if there were any Samuels baptized as illegitimate and found only one in 1823 to Anne COLE. This is a possibility. I also found census records for a Charles PARKER BORN ABOUT 1808 Pickworth, Rutland along with his oldest children I could find no wife, so his wife on the 1861 and 1871 census returns may be a second wife. He seems too young, but he is in all the right areas at all the right times. Maybe he was a naughty 14 or 15 year old, or he's actually older than he represented himself. Kindest Regards, Susan Reynolds Kentucky USA
