    3. G'day from Perth, Still working through the DAVISON line with heaps of similar given names for actual and not applicable links - just to make it harder! William DAVISON was born in about 1829 in Orby (shown in 1851 census as Ilby) to Samuel and Jane DAVISON. Who was his first wife? (her vitals would also be useful to know). When did she die? In 1851 census William is 21 y/o coachman to the Mareham le Fen church. Shortly afterwards he married (I assume). In about 1856 son Francis was born. Between birth and the 1861 census William was widowed & Francis was 5 In 1861 census 30 y/o William and Francis were living with his parents in Mareham Le Fen On 23 May 1865 William married again to Ann KEAL 45 spinster/unmarried mother of Susan of Mareham le Fen. In 1871 census he is living married with Ann and her daughter Susan and Ann's unmarried brother John KEAL. Numerous searches of Ancestry and Freereg produce nothing conclusive because of the preponderance of William DAVISON names in the surrounding area. As yet I've not really looked for the 1881 etc census and for deaths of William & Ann. Peter Holmes Western Australia. Skype ; p.g.holmes [HOLMES (Witham on the Hill, Manthorpe, Spalding, Pinchbeck, Donington then Leicestershire)]. [DAVISON (Spalding, Donington, Ingoldmells, Skegness)]. 3. Hello Peter. The Mareham Le Fen baptism register for 1847 onwards has still to be deposited with Lincolnshire Archives so i've taken a more round about route. >From the FreeReg website , there is a burial in Mareham le Fen on April 7th 1858 for Ann DAVISON age 31. ( on February 10th 1858 there is also a burial for William George DAVISON infant- this particular burial will be uploaded onto the website later today) . Probably linking in to this is a marriage in Mareham le Fen on May 16th 1854 of William DAVISON age 24 of Mareham and Ann COLE age 27 of Mareham. Groom and brides fathers were Samuel DAVISON and Francis COLE. Mick
